Frank CampagnaI’m a 48 year old neurotypical dad with a 14 year old son with severe, non-verbal autism & epilepsy. I created this blog to rant about autism & epilepsy while celebrating my son who I affectionately call “the king” :-).
Yep, we're in full-on throwing season here! Always comes with the allergies. I had to remove the drawers from the desk at the top of the stairs yesterday because my son gets a kick out of throwing their contents downstairs one by one, over and over. But its like whack-a-mole, because once I remove the drawers, he moves into another room and finds other things to throw. Allegra makes him throw things more often but at least he's happy. Zertec makes him tired and sad.
Could it be developmental? My son becomes very difficult the few weeks before there is some kind of developmental change.
Whatever the cause, I hope you get respite soon!
Sounds so familiar, actually does look more exhausting when you write it down!!
Sounds a lot like some of the days we've had. People don't understand what a freakin' chess match it can be to get through the day. Here's hoping the king finds his equilibrium soon 🙂
may the force be with you! 😉
I'm pullin for you guys. Here's hoping for a smooth day for all 3 of you. Try to enjoy yourself!
