Since I’ve started my Autism Daddy Facebook Page in mid April 2011 we’ve covered a TON of topics on my page so far. Some funny, some controversial, some just plain interesting…
But what sucks about Facebook is that once the post is out there and everyone comments it kinda disappears down the page never to be seen again.
And I feel like that’s a damn shame, a damn shame! 🙂
So, I took the time last night to scroll way back to July to find some of my favorite Autism Daddy Facebook posts, the posts that got the most feedback/ comments…

She writes…
“Having a kid on the high-functioning end of the spectrum isn’t a bed of roses either. Some kids don’t talk, mine won’t shut up. Ever. The kid is allergic to silence. Some kids reject physical affection, my son has no concept of personal boundaries. I can’t sit next to him at the table because I spend more time detaching him and telling him he is acting inappropriately than I do eating. My son spends most of his time in general ed which is great but it highlights the behavioral and social differences between him and his peers. We are lucky that he’s high functioning but don’t mistake that for life being easier, it’s just a different bag of problems….”

Wow!! Still with my wife and son…. And having a blast every day. Life is what you make it.
All I'm gunna ask is, how can you bring yourself to keep buying expensive stuff? Flat panel tv's, super expensive furniture? Maybe it's just me, but if I kept spending the money and it kept getting destroyed I'd say screw it. Go for a cheaper, yet still.. nice, model. lol
